OUR MISSION EDUCATIONAL TOURS AND TRIPS
Starz-N-Lightz is an Acton based non-profit children’s theatrical venue that provides drama and musical theatre opportunities for children ages 5-18. We welcome all children who are interested in exploring theatre, whether they have previous experience in the arts or learning style differences. We strive to create an environment that promotes harmony and instills self confidence.
WHAT WE DO
SHOWS AND WORKSHOPS
We offer a variety of programs and workshops for varying ages. * SPROUTS: StarzNLightz youngest thespian group including students
grades K-3.
*YOUTH ENSEMBLE is made up of young actors in grades 3-6.
* TEEN ENSEMBLE is the group with which this all began. Members are in grades 6-12.
Each group performs throughout the school year.
In 2010 we will introduce our Summer Stock where we bring all ages together for an intensive month of rehearsals. We perform together bringing an inclusive and spectacular production to summer audiences.
SPOTLIGHT PLAYERS
SPOTLIGHT PLAYERS is a group of talented kids from Acton and surrounding communities, grade 6 through 12. These junior performers enjoy an opportunity to perform and entertain many audiences while getting real world experience as an actor.
Additionally, the program provides chaperoned educational tours to explore theatre within local, national and international locales, in order to educate and broaden the understanding of both theatre, its origination and its development over time and within various restrictions.
