Starz-N-Lightz is an Acton based non-profit children’s theatrical venue that provides drama and musical theatre opportunities for children ages 5-18. We welcome all children who are interested in exploring theatre, whether they have previous experience in the arts or learning style differences. We strive to create an environment that promotes harmony and instills self confidence.
Our goal is to provide programs and workshops for children teaching them about the wonders of Musical Theatre. We have three ensembles, our Sprouts ages 5-9; the Youth Ensemble ages 9-12; and the Teen Ensemble ages 12-18. Each year these ensembles offer musical theatre productions. Throughout the year, we also offer four day workshops that end with a small performance. Our casts sizes range from 30-70 depending on the show and our workshops generally host 25. Our cast and students come from Acton as well as many surrounding towns--Concord, Sudbury, Maynard, Dunstable, Groton, Westford, Littleton, Stow, Hudson and Waltham.
